Victoria's Proposed Right To Work From Home Legislation

The Victorian Government is set to introduce a statutory right for employees to work from home up to two days a week, with legislation expected in July 2026. This change, amending the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic), will require employers to update health and safety policies to address home working environments and associated psychosocial risks.
