Careers at PsychProof
We are an Australian platform that helps organisations identify, document and manage psychosocial risks in a structured and defensible way. The platform supports workplace consultation, risk assessment, control tracking, organisational change reviews and ongoing monitoring. We are currently focused on our first customer engagements, including psychosocial risk assessments associated with AI adoption and organisational change.
If you want to help build something practical at the intersection of WHS, organisational change and technology, we would like to hear from you.
Founding Psychosocial Risk Partner
We are looking for an experienced psychosocial risk or WHS professional to join PsychProof as a Founding Psychosocial Risk Partner.
This is not a conventional employee role. It is an early-stage commercial partnership for someone interested in helping shape a practical psychosocial risk offering, working directly with prospective clients and jointly delivering the first customer engagements.
You would bring professional credibility, applied psychosocial risk expertise and an understanding of how Australian organisations manage WHS obligations. PsychProof would provide the technology platform, product development, implementation support and commercial infrastructure. The immediate objective is to secure and successfully deliver the first three customer engagements.
What you would do
- Help refine PsychProof's psychosocial risk assessment methodology and client offering.
- Participate in initial meetings with prospective customers.
- Help organisations identify psychosocial hazards, assess risks and develop practical controls.
- Facilitate or support worker and management consultation.
- Review reports, risk registers and recommendations produced through the PsychProof platform.
- Jointly deliver pilot engagements, initially focused on organisational change and AI rollout.
- Provide practical feedback that influences the product roadmap.
- Help build credible case studies, implementation processes and service standards.
- Introduce PsychProof to suitable organisations or professional networks where appropriate.
Who we are looking for
You may be a WHS consultant or practitioner, psychosocial risk specialist, organisational psychologist, occupational health professional, human factors specialist, or a workplace relations or organisational change consultant with relevant WHS experience.
You should have:
- practical experience identifying or managing workplace psychosocial hazards;
- a strong understanding of Australian WHS duties and psychosocial risk management;
- experience working directly with organisational leaders, HR teams, WHS teams or employees;
- confidence facilitating risk discussions, interviews or workshops;
- the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical workplace controls;
- strong professional judgement and communication skills;
- an interest in building a new service offering rather than joining an established consultancy.
Existing consulting relationships, professional networks or business development experience would be valuable but are not essential.
Initial focus
Our current priority is developing a structured psychosocial risk assessment for organisations introducing AI into the workplace. Potential issues include job insecurity and fear of displacement, role ambiguity, inadequate consultation, increased workload during implementation, reduced autonomy, employee surveillance concerns, inadequate training, responsibility for AI-supported decisions, and changes to professional identity and work quality.
The Founding Psychosocial Risk Partner would help convert this framework into a credible, practical and commercially deliverable client engagement.
Commercial arrangement
This is an independent, commission and revenue-share-based partnership. There is no fixed salary at the current stage. The commercial structure will reflect the partner's contribution to originating client opportunities, conducting assessments and workshops, delivering professional services, supporting implementation, and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
The arrangement will be agreed transparently before any customer work begins. A longer-term leadership or equity arrangement may be considered if the partnership is successful and agreed milestones are achieved.
Why join at this stage
This opportunity may suit someone who wants to influence the direction of a new psychosocial risk platform, build a scalable consulting and technology offering, develop a new source of client work, work at the intersection of WHS, organisational change and technology, contribute to the development of practical tools rather than static compliance reports, and take a meaningful founding role without leaving their existing practice or employment immediately.
Location and working arrangement
The role is primarily remote and flexible. PsychProof is based in Queensland, but applications are welcome from suitable professionals across Australia. Initial involvement can be fractional and structured around customer opportunities and agreed deliverables.
How to apply
Please provide a short introduction outlining:
- your experience in psychosocial risk, WHS, organisational psychology or a related field;
- the types of organisations you have worked with;
- your experience conducting assessments, consultation or workshops;
- what interests you about joining PsychProof at the founding stage;
- whether you currently operate independently or through a consulting practice.
This opportunity is best suited to someone who combines professional expertise with a practical, commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
